Powers: Healing, (AS with most of the characters in my class of angel) Calming Serenity. Her very presence has a way of calming the entire area down. Spells of various types and styles. Charms of various degrees, telekinesis, telepathy, mental suggestion, clairvoyance, Precognition. 

Shay is a master psychic. Her special ability allows her to understand and use things dealing with the mind to a unique level. If given the chance, she can actually enter someone’s mind with little to no effort. She can read minds to a pretty unique extent as well. These types of abitlities are what Shay specializes in.

 

Working diligently under the orders of Jericho she protects her charges from themselves and exterior forces if needed. Her main job is to focus on individuals who feel lost, hopeless and damned, because she too was once lost, hopeless and thought herself damned. Shaylynn is one of the few angels that had a past life, before she became an angel, and it was not one she is proud of by any means. In life, she was a swindler, a courtesan that could also be considered a black widow. She would lure unsuspecting men to a secluded area, tease him and then either kill, or knock out the male, stealing any money they had upon them. And that was barely the tip of the ice berg. Shay stole, swindled, and killed her way to the top. In her human life, she should never have gone to the Silver City, let alone become a guardian angel. In the time of her human death, she performed an outstanding feat. Something that was selfless, pure and honorable. She drew her last breath when she saved a woman with similar circumstances to her own, the victim of a rapist, and murderer. She saved the woman’s life, but lost her own in the process. This caused Jericho to see something deep within her that no one else could have spotted. Instead of letting her soul fall to hell, he reached down, and grabbed her soul. Bringing it up to his office, he reconstructed her body, and turned her into a guardian angel. Since that fateful moment, she has been one of Jericho’s most reliable, and pure angels. The reconstructing did some things to her mind, wiping it of all impure thoughts, almost a bit too much really, as now she seems far more innocent in her angelic life then she ever did in her human life. She asked him to wipe some of those memories from her mind, so that she wasn’t haunted by thoughts of what she was…..Now, she is quite easily one of the best choices for guardians to special charges that Jericho could ask for.
