Aerilyn was a Prominent Lady in Evalian with her father being a baron in the lands under King Sylvan. She grew up well and had many suitors for her hand, mostly for her dowry. She danced the night away and caught the eyes of several. Including one named Yaksha. He tried to use his seductive ways with her, she was a very beautiful woman. His powers had no effect on her and this pissed him off to no end. Through his analytical thinking... since vampiric powers did not work on this mortal, she was probably going to be one formidable vampire one day. So he decided to pull a Krishna and made her his first prodigy. Somehow though, there was something very special about Aerilyn, she was unable to be controlled, even after Yaksha had changed her with his own blood. He could not figure it out, and gave many, many attempts to take control over her. To this day, even Yaksha cannot figure out why she was able to be so resistant to everything she was ever faced with, regarding any control. If we are being honest, Aerilyn didn't know how she could resist all of those abilities either...
Eventually Yaksha got tired of her and instead of killing her left her there. She went home and was almost killed trying to go home. She Fled hearing of DarkStone how other vampires live there. She arrived telling her story of Yaksha and freaked out thinking Yaksha lived there when she met Demetri thinking he was Yaksha. She eventually learned that was his twin, the good twin... and Arcana decided to keep her in the castle for now. Making her a lady in her court.
